Choose THREE competitions above, or compete in all optionals, and we will take the highest of your scores.
Two different titles - two opportunities to win! 

Formal Attire

Formal Wear/ Gown:  Contestants in Pre-Kindergarten and over will model a full-length pageant or prom gown of their choice. Judges will be looking for a naturally beautiful queen, with lots of grace, elegance, and lots of personality. 
 

Contestants third grade and under:  We are not a glitz pageant system. We are looking for a naturally polished queen. Makeup Rules for these division: Light makeup is allowed- blush, powder, mascara, and lip gloss. Contestants may ahve on makeup for the final event  under the harsh lights at the theatre but still should be done in taste. 

Contestants in fourth grade and over, make up, pageant hair styles, and sparkle are allowed in these divisions! Judges will be looking for a naturally beautiful, confident, and well put together queen. You do not need pageant experience to participate!

Opening Production

Marc Defang Romper: Contestants will model their purchased Marc Defang Romper with their choice of shoes during the opening production.  Each contestant will introduce herself on stage.  For our Pre-School children, our emcee can prompt if needed.  

If you competed in the State pageant, you do NOT need to purchase a romper again.  We will only use one style for State Pageants & Nationals to keep contestants from purchasing two:

Private Interview

Interview:  Contestants will meet with the judges for a panel-style interview.  There are no right or wrong questions.  No political or controversial questions will be asked. Judges are just trying to get to know you better. Wear a dress or outfit of your choosing.  No glitz or formal attire please. 

Contestants in the Teen and Miss divisions should upload a one-page resume (front only).  Please see an example under our backstage page.  
Attire:  Dress or pant suit. No formal attire please.

Fun Fashion

Casual Wear: Contestants will model their pageant t-shirt (ordered when you register and picked up during registration) along with any white bottoms- shorts, skirt, pants, and shoes of their choice. Contestants may accessorize as they wish. 

Judges will be looking for a contestant that is naturally beautiful with lots of personality.  

State Costume

State Costume: Be creative and have fun!  Stage time limit for State Costume is 90 seconds.

Spokesmodel

Spokesmodel: Our most favorite competition!  Contestants will answer a question on stage after our evening gown competition.  One winner will be named in the overall division as well as a grade level queen.  This event is completely  optional in all divisions. 

Talent

Talent: Judges will be looking for a contestant that has natural talent in any talent presentation.  Time limit:  2 minutes.

Introduction

Introduction:  Contestants will model their Marc Defang opening number attire.  Contestants will give their name, their title,  and one fun fact. Required in all divisions.

Casual Wear

Contestants will model their pageant t-shirt (ordered when you register and picked up during registration) along with any white bottoms- shorts, skirt, pants, and shoes of their choice. Contestants may accessorize as they wish. 

Judges will be looking for a contestant that is naturally beautiful with lots of personality.  

Promising Model

Most Promising Model:  Photos will be taken by Wendy Smith on Friday evening.  Judges will choose from a series of shots to determine the winner of the Promising Model competition.

Miss Photogenic

Photogenic:   You have nothing to submit.  Wendy Smith on Friday evening.  The judges will choose from these photos.   Judges will be looking for facial beauty, photo clarity, and overall appeal.   Judges will be looking for a beautiful girl with a great personality.  This award is double crowned.  One overall winner will be named per division.  In addition, a contestant will also be named per grade level.

 

Prizes

We take pride in offering an amazing prize package.   Every contestant will be recognized on stage with at least crown, sash, and trophy.  Please join us!
